Mr. Downing is a Developer from North Carolina, USA, planning to develop a Condo Project in Costa Rica, to whom we provided an Auditing service of the due diligence being done by consultants. Throughout our services, we detected lack of technical and legal detail in all documents, as well as allowed us to expose the risks inherent within the business arrangements and approaches being done by his counterparty in Costa Rica, all of which save Mr. Downing from possible legal liabilities.

Property buyer to whom we Audited the designs and construction budget given to him by Developer, thanks to our involvement in his Project, we expose hidden overcharges and excessive costs in various items, all of which would have been presented as “extra charges” at closing of construction process.

Located in New York, they are owners of a house construction Project in Costa Rica, who hired us for a one time inspection to provide our technical criteria regarding their impression of construction process taking too long, and budget not being reflected on site in the same proportion as money sent to builder. Throughout our inspection, we detected an irresponsibly lack of organization, quality control protocols, as well as construction errors that would compromise integrity of the structure if not corrected, which later on was confirmed by a detail Seismic Vulnerability Study carried out in attention to our suggestion. Construction process was stopped as we suggested, in order to carry out a reorganization that would take project to a safe port.
